Batting

• A gold dot marks where the pitch will cross. Swing as it gets there. Tap anywhere, or tap Swing!Click anywhere or press Space.
• Or aim it: hold Swing! (or anywhere) while she winds up, slide the barrel onto the dot, and let go to swing.hold Space (or the mouse) while she winds up, move the barrel onto the dot with the arrows (or the mouse), and let go to swing. Right on it squares it up; under it pops it up, over it beats it into the dirt.
• Want the timing ring and meter? Settings, Show swing meter.
• Power hits it farther, but you have to be right on time. The crosshair turns orange. A normal swing stays blue. ⇧ Space
• Bunt drops a soft one in the infield. The crosshair turns green. N
• Three strikes and you're out. Four balls and you walk to first.

Running

• The runner panel has a row per runner: Go ▶ sends her on, Hold stops her at the next base, ◀ Back sends her back. → ↓ ←, 1–4 picks a runner.
• Between pitches, Steal ▶ sends her when the pitch is thrown. R

Pitching

• Pick a pitch: Fastball, Changeup (slow and sneaky), Riseball or Drop. 1–4
• Press and hold anywhere, slide to move the ghost ball, and let go when the power bar is in the green. Too hard and it wanders.Click where you want it, or nudge with the arrows or WASD and press Space.
• On Hard, stop the meter in the green for your best stuff.

Fielding

• Your fielders chase the ball on their own. TapClick the field to send the nearest one to that spot.
• On Hard (or with Fielding throws set to You throw in Settings), you make the throws: when your fielder has the ball, tap a bagclick a bag or press 1–4 while the needle is in the green. Yellow makes the baseman stretch, red is an error. Wait too long and she throws to the lead runner herself.

Comedy moves

Stomp Run S

Your runners stomp extra fast. Once per at-bat.

Tail Whip W

Once a game. In the strike zone it leaves the park. Outside it, she misses and falls down.

Tail Slap T

Your fielder belly-flops after the ball. Once an inning.

Steal R

Your runner takes off on the pitch.

Pickle stick ↑↓←→

Caught in a pickle? Steer her with the stick: up for the bag ahead, down for the one she left, sideways to sidestep a tag (3 feet off the line at most, or she's out).

Dodge Space

In a pickle, dodge when the glove gets close (or flick the stick).

Charge C

Hit by a pitch? Charge the mound for a dogpile, or take your base (B).
